The Ultimate Creative Travel Blog

Welcome to the Joeyt Travel Blog

The journey not the arrival matters”—T.S. Eliot

From stunning beaches to the rich culture in a vibrant city, what was once one of my passions, travelling is now my purpose.

Now let me ask you this. What does travelling mean to you? For most people, travelling is a means of escape. It is a whole other world of relaxation, recuperation and valued time to recharge. For me, it runs so much deeper. Being a travel blogger doesn’t mean my purpose is to endorse as many destinations around the world as I can. Nor does running a travel blog mean visiting a new destination to check off my bucket list or to take the perfect picture. Travelling is about finding and chasing after happiness; to experience all the joy and beauty life has to offer and to fully immerse myself in a new place and culture.

The power of travelling not only helps break down those barriers that we put up in life but it keeps you inspired. Travel is one of those things in life that’s intoxicating. Once you experience it, you won’t be able to remember what your life was like before you discovered it. Travel is about finding out who you are and your place in the world. It’s so incredibly easy to get stuck looking and thinking about everything in the same way everybody around you does, but widening your perspective is really as easy as stepping out of your hometown and outside of your comfort zone. You may find yourself with a whole new attitude on life just by doing so.

On my journey, I’ve explored the beaches of Spain, eaten my way through Japan, and navigated the chaotic streets of Vietnam. Through it all, travelling has inspired me and invigorated my passion for life. I hope to share my passion with you through this page and possibly inspire you to take an adventure of your own.

Here on Joeyt, you will find detailed reviews of some of the most stunning hotels and restaurants from across the globe, accounts of my daily excursions, and some of the most unexpected travel tips and guides that you never knew you needed! I’ve learnt so many things on the road. From the locals that have the most inspiring stories to tell, or from simply observing what’s going on around me. But I hope what I’ve learned can inspire you to pack your bags and aid in making travelling a little less scary and stressful for you, no matter your destination. But I must warn you, once you take that first step to start travelling, you might never want to stop. And that’s just the beauty of it.

I’ve experienced the transformative effects of travel, and it is something I want to share with all my creative spirits out there. I want to shout it from the rooftops. There is truly no value you can put on travel because it is an investment into yourself and your happiness. It is a gift that you can carry with you for the rest of your life.

Come and join me on my journey to see the world. I’m so excited to have you.
